We have all done it! We look at another’s life, achievements, failures, actions and choices and we do this in judgment whether it’s out of jealousy or righteousness. And for justification of our ill feelings we gossip and compete. The idea that we must all meet each other’s expectations in our actions, feelings and thoughts to fit a social mould is hindering our personal potential. When we have turned our focus on others are we avoiding our responsibility of own feelings towards ourselves? And rather than working on improving ourselves are we looking for self assurance rather than self acceptance and reason for self improvement? Something to think about... Love you, Love me! Just a reminder. Don’t get caught up in the current Spiritual/Yoga/Meditation “rules”. I have been meditating for over 6 years and put me in a group class that ends with a 10 minute meditation and I begin to laugh. It’s not my thing, I sit in meditation and can go deep within quite easily and some days I can not get into the zone. The goal is self awareness. Don’t worry about whether you are making progress or not. Just keep your attention on the Self twenty-four hours a day. Meditation is not something that should be done in a particular position at a particular time.
